Designed with and for historically divested communities, our offerings help students build emotional awareness, reduce stress, and develop practices that support their mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Facilitated by local BIPOC practitioners, our programs create culturally grounded spaces for students to explore mindfulness, movement, and self-expression. Whether through single-session assemblies or multi-week series, we tailor our work to meet the needs of each school community, offering healing-centered alternatives to punitive models of discipline and behavioral response.
Mindfulness for Youth: In this adaptable program, participants are introduced to core mindfulness practices that support stress reduction, emotional regulation, and mental clarity. Offered as a single workshop or multi-week series, each session includes guided meditation, reflective activities, and interactive tools that students can carry into their daily lives
Movement & Somatic Practices: Rooted in cultural affirmation and trauma-informed care, our movement-based sessions blend modalities such as yoga, Neuromuscular Integrative Action (NIA), tai chi, and African diasporic healing practices. These sessions offer students a safe and joyful space to express themselves physically and emotionally supporting nervous system balance, body awareness, and creative connection.
Restorative Justice Movement: Participants will engage in our restorative justice workshops, available as a single session or an immersive eight-week series. This program focuses on transforming conflict resolution through empathy, dialogue, and collaboration. They will learn to repair harm and build constructive relationships by working together to find solutions that benefit everyone involved while improving emotional management skills.
Our school and community-based programs are designed to be flexible, culturally grounded, and trauma-informed, ensuring meaningful engagement for students and alignment with the needs of each site we partner with.
